Pacyfire Engineering LLP provide expert solution in Pacycrete 350 cementitious fireproofing
At Pacyfire Engineering LLP, Pacycrete 350 is our light-density cementitious fireproofing system developed for structural steel and concrete where weight control and buildable thickness are critical. It provides durable passive fire protection for industrial and infrastructure projects such as pipe racks, equipment platforms, cable galleries, terminals and process buildings that face moderate to severe fire exposure but demand a lighter coating solution.
Pacycrete 350 forms a uniform, robust layer that slows the temperature rise of steel during a fire, helping the structure maintain its load-bearing capacity for the specified rating. The system is designed to be easily pump-sprayed or hand-applied, giving applicators excellent productivity on large surfaces, complex shapes and overhead members. Once cured, it delivers a smooth, stable finish that can be left as is in plant areas or top-coated where an enhanced appearance or additional environmental resistance is required.
Formulated and tested to relevant international standards, Pacycrete 350 bonds strongly to primed steel and approved substrates while resisting cracking and delamination in service. Combined with Pacyfire Engineering’s design, application and inspection expertise, it forms an important part of our integrated passive fire protection offering.
100%
Service Satisfaction
At Pacyfire Engineering, we understand that different zones in a plant or facility require different densities of fireproofing. Pacycrete 350 is positioned as a light-density, cost-efficient option where reduced loading on the structure, good thermal performance and ease of installation are all important.
Our engineering team reviews fire design data, member sizes, loading and exposure to determine the correct Pacycrete 350 thickness for each project. Using project drawings and 3D models, we prepare detailed fireproofing layouts and thickness schedules, coordinating closely with consultants, EPC contractors and fabricators so that connections, interfaces and inspection points are clearly defined before work begins.
On site, our trained applicators manage every key step:
-
Surface preparation and priming in line with manufacturer recommendations.
-
Mesh reinforcement installation where required.
-
Layer-by-layer application of Pacycrete 350 by pump-spray or hand trowel to achieve the specified thickness.
-
Finishing, thickness (DFT) checks, adhesion tests and curing inspections.
Our Pacycrete 350 applications Include
All work is carried out under approved method statements and quality plans. Inspection records and as-built thickness data are captured for inclusion in the project QA/QC dossier and for future audits.
Beyond newbuild projects, Pacycrete 350 is also suitable for upgrading and repairing existing fireproofing where a lighter system is preferred. We can remove loose or incompatible material, prepare the substrate and reinstate fire protection to current standards while coordinating around live operations and shutdown windows.
