Pacyfire Engineering LLP provide expert solution in Pacycrete 800 cementitious fireproofing
At Pacyfire Engineering LLP, Pacycrete 800 is our heavy-duty, high-density cementitious fireproofing system engineered to protect structural steel and process equipment exposed to severe fire scenarios. Designed for hydrocarbon pool and jet-fire conditions, Pacycrete 800 delivers robust fire resistance while maintaining a clean, durable finish that can withstand demanding industrial environments such as refineries, petrochemical plants, LPG terminals and infrastructure projects.
Formulated and tested to international standards, Pacycrete 800 combines reliable thermal performance with excellent adhesion to primed steel and approved substrates. The system can be machine- or hand-applied, builds thickness quickly, and cures to a tough, impact-resistant surface that resists weathering, vibration and mechanical damage. Backed by Pacyfire Engineering’s design, application and inspection expertise, it forms the core of many of our passive fire protection solutions.
100%
Service Satisfaction
At Pacyfire Engineering, we understand that structural steel, pipe racks, LPG bullets, spheres and equipment supports carry the critical load of modern plants and infrastructure. Unprotected steel can rapidly lose strength in a fire, leading to structural collapse and long outage periods. Pacycrete 800 is developed to prevent this by slowing the steel temperature rise and maintaining load-bearing capacity for the required fire rating.
Our engineering team reviews fire scenarios, design temperatures and steel sizes to determine the correct thickness of Pacycrete 800 for each project. Using project drawings and 3D models, we prepare detailed fireproofing maps and thickness schedules, optimised for constructability and long-term maintenance. We also coordinate with consultants, EPC contractors and fabricators to ensure that connection details, interfaces and inspection access are considered from the start.
On site, our trained applicators manage every step of installation: surface preparation, priming, mesh installation (where required), Pacycrete 800 application and final profiling. Application is carried out in controlled layers using pump-spray or trowel methods, following approved procedures to achieve consistent density and adhesion. Each area is inspected for thickness (DFT), finish and curing, and results are documented for QA/QC records and future audits.
Our Pacycrete 800 applications Include
Beyond new construction, Pacycrete 800 is also suitable for upgrading existing fireproofing or replacing damaged, outdated systems. We can remove loose or incompatible materials, prepare the substrate, and reinstate fire protection to current standards – all while coordinating around live operations and shutdown windows.
